Tech-Pro Zip lets you quickly and easily open, view and extract (unzip) files from compressed Zip archives. It can just as easily create Zip archives, too. Unlike many other Zip utilities, Tech-Pro Zip doesnt confuse you with a lot of options youll never need. Its the really easy way to manage with Zip files!
If you didnt already know, the Zip format is the industry standard format for storing files and folders in a single, tightly-compressed archive. Windows XP even has built-in support for Zip archives. If you have Windows XP, then Tech-Pro Zip supplements this built-in support by providing a separate Zip / Unzip application. You can use Tech-Pro Zip instead of Windows XPs Explorer, or as an alternative. We think you may find that Tech-Pro Zip is actually a more convenient way to work with Zip files!
As well as a Zip manager for working with Zip files, Tech-Pro Zip adds options to Windows Explorer context menus enabling you to quickly convert folders to Zip files, and convert Zip files to folders.
Tech-Pro Zip requires the Tech-Pro Utilities Startup package version 1.0.3 or later. This package contains some run-time files that are required by Tech-Pro Zip. Tech-Pro Utilities are donationware - if you like them, please donate a few dollars.
