UPS Assistant 1.3.0.33 description

UPS Assistant 1.3.0.33 is designed to monitor status of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), and linked with a computer through USB-port and supporting the Megatec/Centralion protocol (Ippon, Mustek, Sven, Inelt).

Major Features:

  1. Monitoring of status of the UPS, connected to a computer through USB-port;
  2. Logging accidents with the possibility of clearing and saving to a text file;
  3. Submitting reports on the status of the UPS with a given frequency and warnings of emergency situations via e-mail;
  4. Report on the status of the UPS in the form of HTML-page through the HTTP-server;
  5. Toggle UPS beeper;
  6. UPS battery test;
  7. Suspend, hibernate, shutdown at power fail:
  8. At a voltage reduction on battery below admissible;
  9. Through the set interval of time;
  10. Autorun with Windows;
  11. Adjustment of an interval of updating of the information on a status of the UPS;
  12. Save setiings in Windows registry.

At start the program is turned off in tray and displays the information on a current status of the UPS three possible icons - power O.K.; AVR; power fail.

Enhancements:

  • added HTTP server to receive reports via the Web,
  • added choice of parameters and events to be included in the e-mail- or Web-report,
  • added preventing the launching of multiple copies of the program,
  • fixed a few bugs

Requirements:

  • Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista (x86 and x64), Windows 7 (x86 and x64).
