The VistaBootPRO 3.0 interface makes it easy for both the novice and advanced user to make changes to the Boot Configuration Data store (BCD) without having to use the complex command line application bcdedit.exe
Advanced settings include backing up and exporting your boot loader configuration, making advanced "functional" changes like adding an Operating System to the boot menu, repairing the Windows Vista boot configuration data and modifying other settings which will affect the way that Vista boots.
VistaBootPRO can also be used to make "cosmetic" changes to the Windows Vista boot menu such as changing the name of the Operating Systems shown and changing the default boot operating system.
VistaBootPRO 3.0 may be used from within Windows Vista and Longhorn Server, as well as legacy operating systems including Windows 2000, 2000 Server, XP/MCE, and Server 2003
