WinQuota Corporate Edition 4.5.4 is designed as a a professional program that is disk quota management software optimized for large and huge companies, with dozens of domains, thousands of users in those domains, multiple servers and has specially optimized interface. WinQuota Corporate provides the ability to specify domains, active directory, and even LDAP queries to find users and groups in huge domains manually.

2. Technically, all quota managed information is placed into EA (extended attributes) of appropriate files and directories with proper security permissions. Except for backing up and restoring tools all programs have no access to this information by their design (Win32 programs usually have no support of NTFS streams and EA).
3. If current disk operation reaches quota limits, than it is stopped, and there is no way to make files larger than quota settings.
4. Every time any operation like file writing, deleting, renaming or moving files is performed, WinQuota tracks all data changes at the drive.
5. Temporary files are not tracked for quota limits and usually users can operate data even if the limit refuses two copies of a file at a time.
