SetRes 2.1 description
With SetRes you can set the screen resolution, colour depth and refresh rate from the command line or a shortcut.
Primarily intended for Windows 2000/XP so that you can set display parameters on a per-user basis. Windows 98 and Me already have this capability.
Enhancements:
- Press a key prompt can be avoided with the N command line parameter
- High CPU usage when prompt displayed is now eliminated
- Prompt beeps and times out after 15 seconds
The above changes were in response to a request from the user of a program that invokes Setres
