ActiveX SCRIPTS COLLECTION 1.0

This is a collection of 6 cool JavaScripts using ActiveX controls. You can use them to access your hard drive(s) and manipulate with your files and folders (create, open, save, delete, view properties, etc.). Initially I developed these scripts for the needs of my own programs, but lately decided to share them with others. I hope you will like them. To avoid problems, please read carefully the inline comments for each script before customizing it for your needs. Scripts work only with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
FEATURED SCRIPTS:

• Create New Folder v1.0 - this application uses JavaScript to access the ActiveX File Scripting Object and then creates new folder into a user-specified directory;
• Create Text File v1.0 - this application uses JavaScript to access the ActiveX File Scripting Object and then creates new text (.txt) into a user-specified directory;
• Folders List v1.0 - this application uses JavaScript to access the ActiveX File Scripting Object and then lists the folders of a specified directory;
• List Drives v1.0 - this application uses JavaScript to access the ActiveX File Scripting Object and then lists existing local drives;
• Show File Properties v1.0 - this application uses JavaScript to access the ActiveX File Scripting Object lists the properties (created, modified, accessed, MS-DOS name, file size, location, etc.) of a user-selected file into JavaScript alert box.
• Open and Save As v1.0 - application uses FSO to call Open and Save As VB dialog boxes. It can open .txt and .html files in a form field and also Save As its contents, i.e. serves as a simple text editor.
