ColorLab is designed to be easy to use, and so it is, beside it is free and reliable.
ColorLab lets you pick colors from seven different sources: the standard color dialog, sampling a point on the screen, sampling an average of a 7x7 pixel screen area, adjusting Red-Green-Blue and/or Hue-Saturation-Luminance values (graphically or numerically), adjusting the current colors brightness +/- 5, 10, 15 or 20%, calculating the "average color" of a GIFF or JPEG, choosing from the 216 color WebSafe Palette, or by importing colors from the body tag of a web document.
