CyD Image Mapper software was designed to be a visual image-mapping tool.
CyD Image Mapper is easy to learn and easy to use. Create image-maps simply by opening an image, adding and/or modifying the selectable areas, inserting the attributes and storing the final map in image-map formats.
CyD Image Map allows you to create image maps for your Web site. You can add an unlimited number of map elements, including rectangular, circular, and polygonal region types.
An image map is simply an image that acts as a link, but instead of simply acting as a link to a single page, the image acts as a link to multiple pages. For instance, say you have a map of the United States that you wish to act as an image map. Then you could specify different areas of the map to take you to different pages.
Viewers will not need a special plug-in to use your image map. Anyone capable of viewing images and running javascript on their browser will be able to view and use your image map. Only very old browsers not capable of running javascripts may have problems, but as these browsers are all but non-existent today, you shouldnt have anything to worry about.
