An application that automatically generates keywords meta tags for HTML documents Keywords Meta Tag Generator allows you to generate keywords meta tags for HTML documents. It works basically by counting the number of occurrences of words in your HTML document and building the keywords meta tag from the most-frequently used words (ignoring common words such as the and which).
It does not, however, just use word frequencies, but assigns more (or less) importance to words which occur:
in the title, in the description,among existing keywords, in a heading, in boldface, in italics, in a table.
Version restrictions:
- The software initially runs as a trial version which is fully functional except that a generated meta tag (a) cannot be copied to the clipboard and (b) can be inserted automatically into the HTML file only if the latter is less than 4 KB in size. After twenty program starts or thirty days, whichever comes first, the size of the input file is limited to 4 KB.
