Purgos - server, console (user interface), and client that utilizes Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). Clients are automatically detected. The server acts as the engine component and gateway for all communication among the consoles and clients.
Multiple administrators control an entire network as if working within the local network. Highly scalable, supports a large number of consoles and hundreds to thousands of clients.
To run Purgos:
- The server must be installed in a domain network.
- The server machine must be installed on an NT system (Windows 2000, XP, 2000 Advanced Server, 2k3 Server).
- The server must run as a user who has access privileges to the clients (preferably a Domain Administrator).
