Saurus CMS Free for Windows 4.5.7 offers an effective tool which helps you to combine daily content management features with full range of site administration and development tools. It gives you flexibility to quickly set up a blog, public website, corporate intranet or customer extranet.

Compared to the commercial versions of Saurus content management system, the free edition limits the amount of content items. Otherwise the functionality is exactly the same as in Saurus CMS SE package.

Website sections, articles, forums and image galleries are counted in when calculating the number of content items. Files, images, file folders, comments and forum postings are not counted. Items in Recycle Bin and 17 system messages per each site language are included when counting.

For example you can maintain a one-language website with 7 sections (menus) each containing 5 sub-sections and each section holding 2 articles. Plus one section with 25 articles.
