ContaCam 3.9.7 is designed to be an user-friendly and reliable  Video Surveillance and Live Webcam software for Windows which is extremely easy on system resources, and does not contain unnecessary bloat. It is fast, light, and versatile enough to meet all your security needs while still being very user friendly and able to run on even the most moderate systems. An easy three steps Assistant is provided:

  • Decide for the usage (security surveillance, live snapshot webcam or manual records / snapshots)
  • Enter a friendly camera name, choose the web appearance & language (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian, Slovak, Czech, Dutch)
  • Configure how long to keep the files on your hard disk

Major Features:

  1. Support for all Windows versions from Windows 95 up to Windows 8
  2. The program is freeware and available in four languages: English, German, Italian and Russian
  3. CCTV Security Surveillance with motion detection and 24 hours digital video recording (DVR)
  4. Motion detection events presented as animated thumbnails in web browser, check the street demo and the home demo
  5. Motion detection actions like FTP upload, send email (SSL/TLS or STARTTLS support) with attached movement file or run an external program
  6. Live webcam with possibility of history tracking, see this live demo and select a past day
  7. Manual records and snapshots (video game captures, movie recording, ...)
  8. Integrated web server with password protection (internet or intranet)
  9. Supports Webcams, WDM and DV devices and Network cameras (IP cameras)
  10. Unlimited parallel cameras setup
  11. Can be started as a windows service
  12. Audio storing with the 24 hours recording mode (no audio record on motion detection)
  13. Has all the FreeVimager features for snapshots editing and avi files recompression

Enhancements:

  • Added support for MJPG and M420 capture device formats
  • Moved Movement Detection mode selection box to bottom toolbar
  • Moved Assistant from the Device Settings tabs to its own dialog box
