The Webcam Signature application tracks the colors seen from your webcam to determine where your pen is. To obtain good results, the color of your pen should not be similar to the colors of your background.

You can adjust what range of colors Webcam Signature tracks from within the program. If you cannot get the program to work well with a colored pen, you can also use it with a flashlight!

Benefits of Using Webcam Signature:

• Cool: You can use your webcam as your mouse and it tracks accurately!

With the program opened, hold down either the CTRL or SHIFT key and then proceed to write your name in front of the webcam. Release the key you are holding down to stop writing. Press the CTRL or SHIFT key again to start writing again. Copy your signature to the clipboard or save it to file to further manipulate it in a drawing program.

Save the data points of your signature so that you can retrieve it in the future to apply different colors and line sizes. If you want to use the Webcam Mouse Mode, ensure that you have set your tracking color first and then check the "Webcam Mouse" checkbox on the main page.

Enhancements: The ability to use your webcam to move your mouse has been added.Also added is a larger drawing area for the signature.

Requirements:

• You must have at least one webcam installed on your computer capable of capturing 640x480 video at 20fps.
• You need a pen with a colored cap, such as a common Bic pen. Red and blue ones work best.
• It is recommended that your processor is 1 GHz or faster and preferably a dual-core to handle the intensive math crunching in Webcam Signature.
