webacamXP 5 (aka project wLite) is a brand new project. It's the successor of webcamXP 2008 which is light weight and powerful for streaming any kind of video sources over internet. It offers most of the features of webcamXP 2008 with a simplified interface.

Major Features:

1. Local and remote pan & tilt control (Logitech Orbit, Creative LiveMotion! and IP cameras)
2. Supports FTP/FTPS and HTTP/HTTPS Post.
3. Motion detector (optical or acoustic) with many possible ways to handle alerts (local recording, ftp, http post, launch external applications).
4. Advanced users manager to grant limited or unlimited access.
5. Overlay editor supporting picture in picture, animated gifs, alpha-blending and text editor.
6. DVR (permanent recording deleted after X hours).
7. Run as service.
8. Interract with PowerHome automation software.
