ComLog 1.1.99.6

ComLog simply monitors a specific COM port for any modem connection signals to enable and disable logging. more>>
ComLog simply monitors a specific COM port for any modem connection signals to enable and disable logging. ComLog is a small, simple and easy-to-use MS-Windows utility for logging Online time by monitoring activity on a COM port. This program will only work on Windows 9x/ME
ComLog is a program for logging online-time. It simply monitors a specific COM port for any modem connection signals to enable and disable logging.
Make sure that the program (or a Shortcut to the program) is in your Startup folder. This way, the program will automatically load whenever you startup Windows. When the program is active, it detects a connection and stores the connection time automatically.
Make sure that you have selected the right COM-port to monitor, or else the program will not work correctly. The Activate On option specifies which modem signal should be used to enabled/disable logging.
The default setting is DCD (Data Carrier Detect). The total time of each session is added to the total time (which will be saved every time the program or Windows shuts down). You can auto reset the total time every Day, Month or year. You can also choose to reset the total time manually.

AlfaClock Free 1.99

AlfaClock Free 1.99

AlfaClock is a handy taskbar clock with powerful capabilities and stylish design more>>
AlfaClock is a handy taskbar clock with powerful capabilities and stylish design Ancient Egyptians used the shadow clock (gnomon) to determine correct time. The Greeks used the water clock, or clepsydra. The first mechanical clock appeared in the fourteenth century. Then, in 1929 first electronic timepieces appeared.
As time changes, so do the time-keeping devices. Now, in the beginning of the third millennium, the most precise time can be displayed only by the atomic clock. And thanks to the Internet and AlfaClock from www.alfaclock.com, you can have the atomic clock right on your desktop.
At first glance, AlfaClock is a regular taskbar clock (sometimes called "tray clock"). But that is just your first impression. This tray clock combines multitude of cool features with stylish design.
First, you can set AlfaClock to display time, date and day of the week simultaneously. Second, you can customize AlfaClock to announce this information periodically. And you can set an alarm - a very handy feature, if you frequently keep losing track of time, while using your computer.
Atomic Clock Synchronization feature allows you to periodically connect to atomic clock time servers to make sure that your computer displays correct time and adjust it automatically, if necessary. Correct time may be critical to some computer users - for example, to professional eBay bidders, who make their final bids thirty seconds before the auction closes.
AlfaClock has quite a few of extra features that other taskbar clocks dont have. Like copy time/date to clipborad feature. Or a fully customizable pop-up calendar.
Created to ISO8601 specifications, it will allow you to highlight weekends and holidays, change the first day of the week.
Main features:
- Enhancement for the Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP taskbar clock (tray clock), that displays the time, date and other information in any format (without using lots of little icons).
- Atomic time synchronization. Synchronize clock with Internet Atomic Time Servers.
- Announce the date, time, or both, at specified intervals.
- Powerful alarms, each of which can display a message, play a sound, or run a program.
- Powerful Calendar feature. The calendar shows a month at a time, and has options to include week numbers (determined according to ISO8601), highlight weekends, and change the first day of the week. You can now also choose a font and a color for the calendar.
- Date/time copy to clipboard. Copy date, time, and other info to the clipboard using any format you wish.
System requirements:
- About 3MB of free hard drive space
- Video card with support for at least 256 colors
- Sound card
Version restrictions:
- The free version expires in May 2008

PianoRollComposer 1.99

PianoRollComposer 1.99

Compose MIDI music using piano roll format for any MIDI instrument. more>>

PianoRollComposer 1.99 is a simple and effective tool which uses the standard treble and bass clef staffs.

Notes are displayed in the piano roll format, so it shows music with absolute accuracy. Notes are entered directly on the staffs, and you can edit each note to give it the exact characteristics you want.

Major Features:

  1. You can input and edit any of 128 MIDI instruments and 58 percussion instruments. If you have a MIDI keyboard, you can play and record any instrument with it.
  2. A composition can contain music from 15 instruments and all the percussion instruments.
  3. The music created with it can be played by any MIDI player, and can be shown in standard music notation by programs like Notation Player.
  4. PianoRollComposer can play and display any MIDI music. Music from different instruments (different MIDI channels) is placed on the same staffs, with different colors to differentiate them.
  5. Darker or lighter colors differentiate sharps or flats. Instruments can be selected to be played and shown, or not played and shown.
  6. You can move a note left or right. Right-click on it to change its note type, volume, instrument master volume, beats/minute, and beginning and end positions.
  7. A note's parameters can be shown on-screen when the mouse passes over it. Music can be transposed up or down.
  8. Groups of notes can be copied or cut and pasted. Pressing the Delete key deletes a note that the mouse cursor is over.
  9. You can insert or delete vertical spaces on the staffs. Key and time signatures can be entered and displayed.
  10. You can change instruments for music already created ( including percussion instruments). A beat is provided (by a selected percussion instrument) when entering music with a keyboard -- either without music showing on the staffs or when adding to music on the staffs after that existing music has finished playing.
