With KILL you can convert HTML documents to normal ASCII text files. KillHTML will quickly and easily remove all HTML tags and JavaScript from one or more HTML files. It does no special formatting, it just removes the tags.
It is still a nice little tool, though it is kind of obsolete now since every good browser has a Save As Text function nowadays. It could still be usefull if you havent got a browser installed or for converting a lot of HTML files at once.
This ZIP file includes both the 16bit DOS command line version (1.5) and the 32bit GUI Windows version (1.5a).

It has a interresting feature called ?scrambler? that plays filtered signal randomly depending on the selected beat.
The ?mix? knob mixies wet and dry signals, The ?volume? knob is for setting the output volume level. The?Bit crusher? produces hard sound. Using its scramble feature you can maintain the rhythmic, choppy, buffered and tempo sync output.

In the perfect world, everything would be digital and the only noise introduced into mix would be intentional. Of course, this isnt a perfect world (at least not yet), and so unwanted noise does exist - but you can do something about it!
AnalogX Gate is the DirectX version of probably one of the oldest and most commonly used audio effects out there - the gate. A gate simply ensures that until the volume of an input passes a certain threshold, no signal is sent through; then once a signal comes through the gate remains open until the signal drops below another threshold.
Of course, Gate requires an application that supports DirectX Audio plugins (like the Paris or WaveLab), and works with either the realtime or non-realtime applications as well. Gate supports mono or stereo sound streams, as well as 16bit and 32bit data types.

Ok, I admit it, Im a fan of arpeggiators. They give you a quick and easy way to do some rhythmic effects that otherwise would just be too tedious to do otherwise. Unfortunately, keyboard manufacturers stopped putting them into their keyboards around the mid-80s, and are only now re-discovering the joy and wonder that is arpeggiation... But whats this got to do with DirectX? I mean, you cant really use one of those arpeggiators with DirectX audio data, can you? Well no, you couldnt... Until now!
