EditPad Lite 6.5.1 is designed to be a handy convenient text editor and Notepad replacement. It has all the features a solid text editor needs. You can open as many files at a time as you want, with no arbitrary file size limit. Each file will have its own tab. You can convert between ANSI, ASCII, and Unicode, and work with Unix and Mac files. You can search and replace across all open files. It has unlimited undo and redo and powerful print preview.

13. EditPad fully supports double byte character systems (DBCS) so you can edit texts written in Far East languages, such as Chinese, Japanese or Korean, as easily as those written in European languages.
14. Many settings such as word wrap, line numbering and auto indent can be made for each file type individually. You could activate word wrap but not auto indent when editing a plain text file, and just the other way around when editing source code. You can also define your own file types which will be used to build the filters for open and save dialog boxes.
15. Configure EditPad's appearance to your own taste and eyesight. Select the colors, font face and font size that you like. Make text cursor highly visible by selecting its size, color and blinking style. Make the mouse pointer easy to spot by choosing its shape and colors.

Enhancements:

• In PowerGREP 3.5.5 fixed a bug that caused PowerGREP to freeze when loading a large undo history. The code that caused the bug is also used in EditPad 6.5.0. It could theoretically cause EditPad 6.5.0 to lock up when switching between large files.
