Adobe Premiere Update 5.1c is a powerful tool updated for Windows is a free update for those running Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later on Windows 95/98/NT 4.0. This update requires that Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later already be installed on your machine in order to update Premiere to version 5.1c. If Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later is not installed, you will need to install the upgrade that can be purchased online, and then come back to install the free 5.1c update.
The Adobe Premiere 5.1c update resolves problems that some customers encountered with Premiere 5.1 and Premiere RT 5.1. Even if you did not have problems with Premiere 5.1, Adobe recommends that you download and install this update. Please note that this update is called Premiere 5.1c in order to have the same version number cross-platform.
Major Features:
- The following issues were addressed in 5.1a and are also included in this release:
- Rendering 720x486 frames no longer reverses fields.
- Premiere now correctly locates Boris FX plug-ins for new projects (Windows version only).
- The Project Trimmer utility now accurately trims 29.97 fps projects.
- Premiere 5.1a lets you access the QuickTime effects and transitions directly from within Premiere.
- The following issues are addressed in 5.1c:
- The "not enough handles to complete this operation" message no longer occurs when using the Batch Process feature or when opening a batch list.
- Navigator window redraw issues have been corrected.
- Rendering 720x486 frames no longer reverses fields.
- Additional reported failures to Adobe Technical Support have been addressed.
