Album List is a Winamp plug-in that will turn your directory tree into a list of albums Album List is a Winamp plug-in that will turn your directory tree into a list of albums.

Album List allows you to easily navigate your favorite albums stored on your hard drive and CDs. In addition to it being fully supported in both classic and modern skins, you also get functionalities like multiple profiles, drag & drop, global hotkeys, language packs, and more.

XMMS Album List is a Unix application for loading directories of audio files into XMMS, similar in concept to the Winamp plugin AlbumList. XMMS Album List is written in Perl using Gtk2-Perl, MP3::Info, and Xmms::Perl (the latter being available on CPAN).

This is my first application using GTK+, or XMMSs plugin API, and was mainly written because I was tired of not having AlbumList around in Debian. Thus, its very rough around the edges. I welcome patches.

At first I tried writing this in C using GTK+ and libxmms, but I seem to have ran into some problems with xmms_remote_playlist_add() freezing XMMS.

I figured Id give GtkPerl a shot, and found it to be much much easier to deal with. The result is this.

Version 2 has been completely rewritten, using gtk2-perl and Glade to design the user interface. Thus, you need libglade and Gtk2::GladeXML.

And an explanation of the controls:

· Add Path: brings up a file selection dialog. Pick a directory, and that directory and any below it will be recursively searched for directories that hold songs. Only these will be added to the list.
· Refresh: refreshes the main display
· Clear Albums: clears the main window and the saved album list
· Load Album: clears XMMSs playlist, and loads the currently selected album (directory) into XMMS. This can also be accomplished by double clicking a row.
· Enqueue Album: loads an album without clearing XMMSs playlist.

Freejtv Photo Album & Ajax Slideshow Template is a cross-browser/platform HTML template page for slideshows and Web photo albums/galleries or jukeboxes. The project supports more than 30 DirectX transitions in the IE browser and fade in/out effects in Firefox or Safari.

MP3::Album::Layout::Fetcher is a Perl extension to manage fetchers of album layouts.

This module is a fetcher manager. It searches for modules in the MP3::Album::Layout::Fetcher::* name space and registers them as available fetchers.

The fetcher modules are called by MP3::Album::Layout::Fetcher and they return lists of album layouts (MP3::Album::Layout).

This module calls the respective Fetcher->fetch() method and returns the result.
In case of error the Fetchers must return undef with the error description in $@.

The fetcher selection is made by the "method" parameter passed to the fetch() of this module.

The value of the "method" parameter must be a * part of the MP3::Album::Layout::Fetcher::* fetcher package name. (i.e. for MP3::Album::Layout::Fetcher::CDDB the method is CDDB).

Requirements:

· Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
· Intel Pentium 66 MHz or higher (P166 MHz recommended).
· 16 MB RAM (32 MB recommended).
· A display with at least 256 color depth (64K recommended) and 1024x768 screen resolution.
· Mouse or other pointing device.

F-Album is intended for cataloging digital photos and other images stored on your hard disk, as well as on other information-carrying devices (CD, DVD, etc). In other words, it does not really matter where you keep your images F-Album will allow you to always have a full catalog of your images close at hand.

The key feature of F-Album is its ability to store in its database, along with thumbnails, samples of images as well. A sample (or a miniature) is a small copy of its original image. A user can set size and quality of stored samples, which affects the speed of adding images and the database size.

Using stored samples, F-Album allows to easily create web-galleries without having to access original images. You can also export a sample into a file at any moment and use it as you wish.

You can sort images by the storage location, date, category and persons. Sorting by category is used most frequently. You can build the hierarchic categorization that will be convenient just for you, where one and the same image may be included into any number of categories. Sorting by person is a special category case; however, it is made a separate bookmark for more convenience.

Another distinguished feature of F-Album is its Temporary list. You can «drag» images into this list while working with any section it can be sorting by storage location, by date, by categories or by persons. After you have finished making your selection, you can save a final list of images as a category or a person, or process your selection some other way (for example, create a web-gallery).
