Business Functions 1.52
Business Functions is a convenient tool which can help you analyze and plan your business. more>>
Business Functions 1.52 is a convenient tool with 500+ high-performance functions which can help you analyze and plan your business. It is designed to make financial models such as business plans and budgets faster to build, less error-prone, and easier to understand and maintain. It does this through integrated families of functions, in particular for budgeting and cash flow projections.
One of the features is its day count accuracy when used for projecting cash flows. It has specific interfaces for both Excel 2007 and Excel 1997-2003, as well an expanded utility set that includes number formatting and a time chart wizard, allows partial view of C++ code via the Function Finder, and includes the consolidation tool Cashflow Administrator.
Major Features:
- Flexibility
- Project in either cash or accruals, by changing one variable (ProjMode).
- Change the payment timing from quarterly to annual, calendar quarters or specified dates, again using one variable (Periods).
- Change the timebase of your budget again by using just one variable (Base).
- Accuracy
- Many more DayCount options than Excel, covering all types of payment stream including rent, loans, bonds, and sales revenue.
- Accurate date arithmetic using an advanced timeperiod description methodology (Time, Base, DayCount and Periods) ...
- Projections Functions
- This is the only library that provides specialist projections functions, which are the most accurate and reliable way of projecting cash flows, accruals etc.
- Projections functions are designed to deal accurately with partial periods, change of rate part-way through a period, etc.
- Running through the core of each projection function is the highly optimised daycount and date arithmetic, developed over several years.
- The unique projections functions in the library give model developers a distinct edge over conventional approaches.
- Whatever your business, project it right! Project your interest the same as your banker or bond manager, project your rent just like your Property Manager, Banker or Accountant.
- Rapid Model Development
- Familiar approach within Excel, the tool your already know, using standard functions. No need to learn new user interface.
- Debug and error Trace facility. No more unexplained #NUM! errors, faster formulae debugging.
- Online support Forum for all users.
- Common chart of variables, standard variable names, consistent argument order and style throughout the library eases learning curve.
- Quick to run
- Several times faster than functions written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
- Functions written in optimized native C++ (faster than other methods such as .NET managed code).
- Error Reduction
- Use of same function across the timeframe of the model results in less one-off cell errors.
- The likelihood of error depends less from ill-designed formulas and one-off cell mistakes and more on the choice of correct function and inputs. Inputs are in part checkable automatically by Trace, and in part easier to check by hand because you know what each argument is supposed to be.
- Function inputs and range sizes are screened automatically by the functions for inconsistencies.
- Ease of understanding
- Functions are good practise - a modular way to separate logic from data.
- The name of the function a much better indication of what spreadsheet designer was intending - there is an strong element of self-documentation.
- No need to document a model cell by cell, formula by formula - the presence of a Business Function means that users can revert to the BF documentation for details of what a line in the spreadsheet is doing.
- Robust
- Functions work across a wide range of input magnitudes and will inform, via Trace, where an input is invalid or out of range.
- C++ libraries are the most reliable form of Excel library, because of industry-strength C++compilers, syntax checkers and optimizers, and a minimum of extraneous overhead.
- Ease of Maintenance
- Used widely, standardisation amongst models leverages the analysts knowledge.
- Business Functions behaviour is stable and constant over several years now - future releases are very unlikely to cause model breakages.
Enhancements:
- Maintenance release.
- Compiled with Boost Libraries 1.39.
- Bug fix on opening log files.
This is an Excel add-in with 500+ high-performance functions and is a comprehensive toolkit ... Function Finder, and includes our consolidation tool Cashflow Administrator. EnhancementsLicense:Freeware

Binary Functions Library 2
Binary Functions Library is a kind of libraries which is able to support DLLs which expands its limitations to create robust applications. more>>
Binary Functions Library 2 is a kind of libraries which is able to support DLLs which expands its limitations to create robust applications. This library includes almost all bitwise functions you will imagine, such as Left Shift, Logical Right Shift, Arithmetic Right Shift, and many more. They are compatible with both VB and VB.NET.
This library was written completely using pure ASSEMBLY language to make the functions run as fast as possible, these functions work on 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit and 64-bit values. They are very useful for data encryption. Although you can derive your own functions in Visual Basic/ VB.NET, they will not run as fast as these library functions.

Functions 2d 0.2
Functions 2d Opera widget allows you to enter a mathematical function and have it plotted on a 2D plane more>>
Equations are entered as a function of x. An example for a unit circle would be:
f(x) = (1-x^2)^(1/2)
There is one main feature that is missing from this release and that is that the axis do not have markings on them. This is due to the limitation of Canvas not being able to write text, however in a later release I will have my own text implementation.
Note: To install the widget you have to drag & drop the .zip file on the Opera Widgets Manager window.
System requirements:
- Opera 9 or later

<<lessRuler and Compass 1.7.1
Ruler and Compass is written for students of elementary or secondary schools more>>
Ruler and Compass 1.7.1 is designed as a useful math software which helps the students of elementary or secondary schools with their study.
There are two ways of using of this program. "On screen" constructions allow to construct geometrical figures the way as they are constructed with ruler and compass and only these constructions are possible for "on screen" constructions.
The difference is that everything is done on computers screen, not on a paper. Pictures of circles, lines, and segments may be drawn with a mouse. A computer will find all intersections and this makes the difference with ordinary graphical program - it allows much higher precision. A computer names all figures and names are written on a screen.
The second way of using of program Ruler and Compass is to write a text for geometrical constructions. Program provides a very simple and understandable geometrical-computers language. Using of it is straightforward - instead of drawing - just write. Construction text (source files) can be written with any text editor.
However Literka provided a special editor for Ruler and Compass. All main commands are enlightened with yellow color, when they are written correctly. This avoids misprints. For example: the word circle will appear in a yellow color, but an incorrect word ccircle will appear in a white color. Writing source files is like programming. Only that the language is very simple and can be used by a person not familiar with other computer languages. Construction can be traced step-by-step.
This can be used as a simple debugger. Instead of tracing a source file, you can see a sequence of pictures. This allows also showing a constructions process to friends, parents or teachers. More advanced step is to use procedures. They allow performing more advanced constructions - not possible on paper. Colors can be used if there is such a need. In the directory Examples we can find examples for Ruler and Compass.
Major Features:
- Module "Ruler and Compass"
- This module allows only constructions, which refer to 2-dimensional plane and could be done with a ruler and a compass.
- Module "Dimension 2"
- Module contains all commands from the module "Ruler and Compass" corresponding to a planar geometry. There are few more added commands. They refer to 2-dimensional plane allowing geometrical figures to move, they define vectors, they fill rectangle with geometrical figures etc;
- Module "Dimension 3"
- Commands of this module refer to 3-dimensional space. Usually they serve to construct polyhedrons. There are procedures for coloring polyhedrons, resizing them, showing them in convenient way as animation pictures. Examples show, among other constructions, how to construct all regular polyhedrons. Try to invent your own polyhedron and write a construction with a program Ruler and Compass.
- Module "Graph"
- Commands for drawing graphs of functions. They define rectangles, where these graphs should appear, colors of graphs etc. Functions of these graphs are created with a help of special function editor, beyond of modules.
Enhancements:
- New algebra module, quadratic functions and cubic functions module.
- A calculator, which computes with accuracy (up to) 900 significant digits.
- Option for complex numbers and complex functions.
Requirements:
- At least then 9 MB free hard disk memory.
- Windows system 98 or later version.
- Possibility to download installation program.
