Every time it is run, it shows the current locations of the planets and their orbits, as seen from above (north of) the Solar System. Even the background image is the view of space seen from the correct orientation, with a horizontal angle of view of 135 degrees.
As the planets' positions are updated when the application is run, it is advisable to place a shortcut to PlanetWallpaper.exe in the Startup folder located at Start All Programs Startup. This way the application will run whenever Windows starts. Please note that by using this software you must adhere to the licence agreement included.
