SUMI is a new file sharing program that aims for total anonymity for the uploader. It is a work in progress; although anonymous file transfer works there are some rough edges. SUMI is the first P2P program to use IP spoofing with proxied acknowledgement.

P.S.: The (unreleased) code in Subversion adds scripting support and the allows the client to join multicast groups.
2005-09-12: 0.8.14 is out, featuring: more bugfixes, CRC-32 in every packet, SHA-1 for file verification, and an improved uninstaller. This is the first release with the source code in Subversion. Due to the CRC-32 and SHA-1, the protocol is backwards-incompatible, so youll need to upgrade in order to access the sample servers.

2005-08-25: Temporarily shutdown the sample server due to MTU/MSS incompatibilities introduced in CVS. Will be restored with next release.
2005-08-21: 0.8.12 released! Featuring full file data encryption, and the ability to use Tor (http://tor.eff.org/) as a transport. A sample server should be up soon.

Using a NAT? As of v0.8.5, a new program, rawproxd is included to run on NATs (particularly the WRT54GS) to enable SUMI serving.

Charon is a multipurpose proxy program. Charon will search google for publically posted proxy lists and incorporate an environmental checker to verify their anonymity / functionality.
Filtering support is added by means of user-customisable lists to eliminate proxies such as those run by educational / military / government authorities.
Included within the kit is a php checker which can be uploaded to your own webspace to spread the processor load and bandwidth of the actual testing. This is fully integrated into Charon where it will simply send your pages lists of proxies and harvest the results.

Proxyrama is a simple utility allowing you to find and test proxy servers.
Proxyrama will test proxies for anonymity, speed, if its a gateway proxy, connect support (=chainability), socks 4/5 support and geographical location. furthermore, it can be used as a local proxy server that redirects your traffic through a arbitrarily long chain of anonymous proxies and lets you skip images, multimedia crap, ads, popups etc.
Proxyrama is small, fast, and easy to use.
How to use the proxy server:
FOR MONITORING / FASTER SURFING / SPOOFING
- Click switch to proxy mode.
- Select a port if youre uncomfortable with the default 3128.
- Click enable proxy.
- Configure your browser to use localhost:3128 for http (or whatever port you chose).
- If you want to, you can minimize proxyrama to the systray now.
- Surf.
FOR SURFING ANONYMOUSLY VIA A PROXY CHAIN
- Check all your proxies for CONNECT support. Only these proxies can be used to build a proxy chain.
- Add some to the chain list by right clicking them and selecting "add to proxy chain". Id recommend you use 2-4 proxies there. It MUST be MORE than one.
- Click switch to proxy mode.
- Select a port if youre uncomfortable with the default 3128.
- Click enable proxy.
- Configure your browser to use localhost:3128 for http (or whatever port you chose).
- If you want to, you can minimize proxyrama to the systray now.
- Surf.

WebWarper: Internet Optimizer will allow automating the use of WebWarper service with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
WebWarper is a proxy-like Web service that allows viewing any sites using gzip compression. As a result, it reduces traffic in 2-3 times and assures anonymity while viewing pages (but not while sending messages to forums, guestbooks and other web forms). Gzipping content can accelerate access to Internet. WebWarper also provides antivirus protection by removing suspicious ActiveX from pages.
Version restrictions:
- The service adds advertisement to the pages. Ads can be turned off free of charge, but not for a long time: you will need to repeat the turn-off procedure periodically. Otherwise, you can purchase a registration code, and disable advertising for a very long time.
