It is easy to learn and use, with mouse-based controls, yet provides deep gameplay. It is a TEAM game and mastery will require not only team strategic thinking but also leadership skills. It is fully 3D, but has very modest graphics requirements; it should run fine on the majority of laptops. Gameplay is drop-in/drop-out, so there is no waiting for players. Built-in lobbies provide convenient matchmaking, and ranked games are tracked in the Elo-based leaderboard. The maps are created procedurally, which means they never repeat, the download is small, and there are no loading delays. The game has low bandwidth requirements and is also latency-tolerant. Mac-Ro-Knife is a small and reliable Java-based software that is used for running simple command line based macros on multiple hosts running secure shell.
Usage should be somewhat self explanatory, but writing macros may not. Because of this, a sample Mac-Ro-Knife or .mrk file is available that contains several macros with explanations of the macro features/syntax.
A basic usage example would be that you wanted to change your password on
several *NIX based systems automatically, and that currently you have the same user name and password and every system that you desire to change (private keys are planned future feature).
You would create a simple macro like so:
passwd
%newpassword%
%newpassword%
You would then select which hosts to run that macro on. Once the hosts and
macros have been selected, you hit the Run button, and would be prompted for a login username and password along with any variables that were defined in the macros that are to be run. In this case, newpassword.
The application would then begin sequentially running through all the enabled hosts and run the macro command set in their specified macro (multi-threading is being considered for vastly increased performance).

Mozilla Preference Knife is a small collection of utilities I needed for tweaking Mozilla settings. The download available is the first tool available in this series, targeted at Thunderbird mostly (but should work with Mozilla as well).
When youve got more than one Thunderbird account, Im pretty sure you know how annoying it is that accounts are displayed in their order of creation, without the option to change it. Meanwhile Thunderbird at least has a built-in identity manager, allowing you multiple identities per account, but still if you have multiple accounts, you need to edit the prefs.js file to change their order. This small tool allows you to do exactly that.
Instructions: upon starting this tool, it will ask you to locate your prefs.js file. This usually can be found at C:Documents And SettingsYour UsernameApplication DataThunderbirdProfilesDefaultsometext.xyzprefs.js (future versions will auto-detect all accounts, allowing you a more comfortable selection). Youll then get the list of all accounts in that profile, can move them by selecting them and using the Control+Arrow up/down keys, and save using the Save button.
