Free audio frequency software for windows

Audio Sampler is a quick tool to generate sounds from manipulating and combining variations in sinusoidal waves. In some ways it aims to become a sound synthesizer; however it lacks many filters and tools used in professional packages. As such, it's mostly for experimentation and personal entertainment.

The top menu bar (from left to right)

• New: Create a new project
• Open: Open an existing project.
• Save Project: Saves a project (in XML format).
• Save Wav: Saves a 16bit wav file to disk.
• Add Oscillator. Creates a new oscillator to generate a tone.
• Loop: Enable or disable audio playback looping.
• Play: Play / Loop the current project.
• Stop: Stop the playback.
• Project Name: Specify the name of the project.

The Oscillator (Wave & Carrier): The top tracer represents the current sound wave. It's resolution isn't the greatest, so it will look improper from time to time. The icons on the top represent the wave generator type: sin, triangle, sawtooth, and square. From top to bottom, the scroll bars are as follows:

• Amplitude (A)
• Amplitude Offset (O)
• Frequency (f)
• Period (T)
• Phase (P)

Major Features:

1. Create as many oscillators as your want
2. Create Sin, Triangle, Sawtooth, or Square waves
3. Adjust frequency, amplitude, phase, and more
4. Apply enveloping with Attack, Decay, Sustain, Hold, and Release settings
5. Apply carrier wave adjustments such as AM, FM, or PM
6. Output sound files in high quality 16-bit WAV format.
   

Enhancements:

• Live mixing is now done at 16 bits per sample instead of 8. This fixes a "hissing" noise sometimes heard on various frequencies due to the low audio resolution.
