The Bean is a new Java mud client designed to be:
* highly scriptable, without using a clumsy, ad hoc scripting language: to this end, a Ruby scripting engine is integrated in the applet. Ruby is a nice little language that fits perfectly as a helper for a mud client, because it has awesome text processing capabilities.
* easy to extend: there is a plugin framework that makes it easy (for me) to add extensions. This is not (yet) accessible to the user, although it should eventually be possible to write plugins in Ruby
* runnable from anywhere: the settings can be saved on the mud server (obviously this requires that the mud server support this). The program can be used as a stand-alone application as well as an applet.
* stable: no crash, no feature bloating - this is a mud client, not a freaking chat/editor/encrypter.

Food File 1 is a program for people paying attention to what they eat. It is particularly useful for those following a diet for health or weight loss reasons. Food File is a free food database and calorie counter for 1000s of food products. Searching the database is as simple as typing in the food you are looking for--the software will display a list of matching foods as quickly as you type. You can also refine the search by selecting one or more of the 24 food categories.

Selecting a food displays the proportion of fat, protein, and carbohydrate contained, as well as total calories and more detailed nutritional information. With File Shredder you can remove files from your hard drive without fear they could be recovered. There are quite a few software tools today for retrieval of deleted files under Windows OS. Those tools, often referred to as "file recovery" software, are taking advantage of shortcoming of WIndows "delete" command that all are used regularly to delete files. Actually, the "delete" operation in Windows only removes bits of information from files so they appear deleted in OS. It is easy to retrieve those files using aforementioned specialized file recovery software.

Major Features:

1. Add File(s) - Click to add files ready to be shredded. A file picker will appear. Select one or more files and press open. The files will appear in main pane. You can add as manu files as you want. Note that adding the files into shredding queue does not delete them and you can remove the files from queue latter
2. Add Folder(s) - Click to add folders ready to be shredded. A folder picker will appear. Select a folder and press open. The folder will appear in main pane. You can add as manu folders as you want but you have to add them one by one. The whole folder structure is added including files and subfolders.
3. Remove Selected - Click to remove a file(s) or folder(s) from the shredding queue. Don't confuse this option with Shred Files Now, this option only removes files that are intended for shredding from the queue and no changes are made to the actual files or folders on hard drive.
4. Remove All - Click to remove all file(s) or folder(s) from the shredding queue. This option does the same as Remove Selected but it will clean the complete queue. No changes to files and folders on hard drive will occur.
5. Shred Free Disk Space - This option will shred unused or free disk space across the whole disk volume. For instance, this option is very useful if you haven't shred your unwanted files regularly but instead you used regular windows delete command and now you want your previously deleted files unretrievable. Those files now can not be shredded by picking them since they are already deleted. This option will enforce shredding of everything you have deleted once using the regular delete command, whether it was yesterday or months ago.
6. Shred Free Disk Space - After you picked the files ready to be shredded click on this button to execute permanent removal of files. Warning: this option can not be undone, make sure you haven't picked non intended files accidentally.
