Collected into this book are several confidential hints about devotional service. Bhaktivinoda Thakura was constantly reciting and relishing verses such as the ones in this book, and becoming overwhelmed with love of God. Devotees whose faith is on the neophyte platform, the system of arcana, diety worship, is provided. Arcana means to worship the deity with awe and reverence, with knowledge of the Lords opulence and by observing etiquette. It is also arcana to serve the Supreme Lord, with various paraphernalia according to rules and regulations and with the mundane conception of identifying oneself with the material body. Service rendered with intimacy and a sense of possessiveness, the hot rays are still apparent to a small degree, and no one can refuse the excellent sweetness of its cool, pleasant moonbeams.

Venu Gita (pdf) 1.08

Venu Gita (pdf) 1.08

Venu Gita, The Song of Krsnas Flute. more>> The Song of Krsnas Flute, is translated from the Hindi commentary of Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja reveals the depth of the commentaries of Srila Jiva Goswami and Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura. The Srimad Bhagavatam is the fully ripened, nectarian fruit of the desire tree of Vedic literature which comprises the entirety of Indian thought. Within Srimad Bhagavatam, gopi prema has been ascertained to be the ultimate objective. A few towering waves of gopi prema can be seen from the Venu gita portion of Srimad Bhagavatam. Rasika bhaktas drown themselves in these waves and even lose all consciousness of their own bodies. Greed to be immersed in this nectarian ocean sprouts even in the hearts of the faithful devotees who are situated on the shore of this ocean.<<less
