MIM Blocks is a set of blocks games (sokoban, taquin and various others) in 3D.

Mim-Blocks is reflexion game, where the goal is to merge different blocks of the same color, by moving them inside a maze. Its still at an early stage of developement, but looks promising!

Turts Puzzle Blocks multi-platform puzzle game, designed for both Linux and Windows. Turts Puzzle Blocks is also the current project of Turt99 Productions. The goal of the project is to gain experience C++ and Object Oriented Design, as well as to help in the learn process of Linux as a development platform.

Turts Puzzle Blocks has actually gone through many stages; it started its life as "Turts Breakdown". At this point the graphics where being designed so the "blocks" didnt exists. Once the "blocks" where created there was a need for the name to be changed, and a lot of new modes (or mini games) seemed to fall into the design. As of the Beta release you are basically seeing what "Turts Breakdown" was to be, however there are many more plans for Turts Puzzle Blocks.

Turts Puzzle Blocks is created using KDevelop 2.1 under Linux Redhat 9.0, and uses the SDL libraries. SDL was chosen because it is a multi-platform library that would allow the seamless development for 2 operating systems. SDL main library supplies the support for the windows and the display, but Turts Puzzle Blocks also uses two additional SDL libraries SDL_image and SDL_Mixer. SDL_image supports the use for PNG and TGA files, which allows for Alpha blending and results in clean lines and smooth graphics. SDL_mixer is used for playing sounds and the background music.

MSSQL Blocks is a useful software which is intended to show blocking and blocked processes on several servers in tree view. It uses ADO to get sysprocesses information and shows it in comfortable treeview style. It is easy to find blocking processes on several servers.

In this screensaver, youll see a fading effect with blocks.

All the effect involves is the blocks fading in and out. It generates a bit of a weird effect though. Do not stare at the effect too long!

If you stare at Alpha Blocks Screensaver more than a few seconds, then your eyes may hurt. We are not responsible if you hurt yourself looking at it too much!

Gameplay
The goal of the game is to move and rotate the blocks so that they drop in a desirable pattern on the bottom of the pit. If a certain level of the pit is all filled with blocks, it disappears and the level on top of it drop down. If the blocks pile up to the top of the pit, the game ends. The objective is to gain the greatest amount of points while at the same time dealing with the increasing falling speed of the blocks.

Score
The score in Pocket 3D Blocks is calculated based upon several basic principles. Firstly, the player gets a small amount of points when a block lands on the bottom of the pit. The more complex the block, the more score the player gets. In addition, if the player drops the block down, the awarded points increase. Factors like current level also affect the awarded points. The levels automatically increase as more blocks drop (you can check your level progress with the red bar). Finally, clearing a level of the pit awards you more score and clearing the pit completely gives you a high amount of points. Therefore, to get the best score, drop the blocks down when you can and clear as many levels as you can.

This version was thoroughly optimized for minimum size. We did our best to make the game as small as possible to save valuable space on your PDA. To this end, we decided to exclude fancy graphics that youll rarely see. We think that you know better than us how to utilize the limited space on your pocket device.

Tap the tiles to turn them and reveal the symbol underneath. Match two of the same symbol and the tiles will be removed. As you play, the "move meter" decrease after wrong match. If you have positive "move meter" points - this points will be added at next level. If you use all "move" points and cant clear screen - you go to level down.

Matching two or more sets in a row will earn you bonus points. The more combos you get, the higher the bonus.
