BmpEdit is a useful tool that will edit toolbars and other bitmap (.bmp) files.
It provides conventional editing features and adds some unique capabilities for a freeware .bmp editing program.

By using "UBI2BMP" you can convert *.ubi files to *.bmp files easily Some time ago I decided to become subscriber of CDMA-450 mobile network and get something useful of using this service. Also I decided to introduce myself to EVDO technology. But In my region currently only one mobile phone has support of this technology.
This is a Korean phone named "Ubiquam U-300". Good device with big problems in software support. UBI2BMP is a free and little tool that is call upon to solve one of such problems. With "Ubiquam PC Sync" software I can save photos from phone in proprietary format only (*.ubi files). And by using "UBI2BMP" I can convert *.ubi files to *.bmp files easily. If You are user of this mobile phone then this little tool can be useful for You.
Little technical note: You will need Microsoft .NET framework to run this tool. Also I put all source code in archive so if you learning of this new platform from Microsoft then this can be interesting for You too.

This is a command-line program that operates on 24-bit BMP files, and supports batch mode. BMP Deinterlacer is a small, simple and reliable command-line program that operates on 24-bit BMP files, and supports batch mode.
This has been provided in response to several requests for deinterlacing of a non-lossy format. Source code is included in the zip file.
Usage 1: bmpdeint [options] infile [outfile]
If outfile is omitted, the output will be placed in a directory called deint (created if necessary) under the current directory. The output file will have the same name as the input file.
Usage 2: bmpdeint [options] -b dir
All BMP files in the specified directory will be processed and the resulting processed BMP files will be placed in a directory called deint (created if necessary) under the current directory. The output files will have the same
names as the corresponding input files.
Note that you should never specify "*.bmp" or any other file(s) in batch mode. Specify only the source directory. To denote the current directory, use ".".
The default threshold and denoising are fine for most applications. Use the -c option to see the effects of tweaking the threshold. Areas shown in red under the -c option will be deinterlaced by interpolation; all other
areas are passed through as is.

Any#BmpToJpg.exe is a command that will convert many bmp files into
jpg files at once.
Usage:
Any#BmpToJpg file_filter or if you will a logfile Any#BmpToJpg file_filter > Any#BmpToJpg.log
Example:
Any#BmpToJpg *
Copy the files Any#BmpToJpg.exe and ImageUtils.dll
into your windows\system32 directory.
Then you can use Any#BmpToJpg as a system command.
Notes:
Only files with the extention .bmp are converted. They arent deleted.
The produced files get the same name but the extention .jpg
and are stored in the current directory.
If for a bmp-file a jpg-file already exists, program skips this file.
If one bmp-file is not really a bmp-file the program exits.
If the program succeeds the exit code is 0. Otherwise 1 or 2.
Any#BmpToJpg is freeware.

MiniBmpReader will read a bitmap image and will attempt to give info about it. Can be used to alter the bmp file after few changes.
