Its commonly said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and with that motto in mind, allow me to introduce AnalogX Bound.
So what exactly does AnalogX Bound do? Well, it simply clamps any audio to within a user-specified range... What this eliminates is one of the more common errors a plugin makes with high-volume samples - wrapping. This means the other plugin would take something like a 32bit sample 1.1, and instead of clamping it to 1.0, it instead wraps it to -0.9, which is very bad.
Of course, Bound requires an application that supports DirectX Audio plugins (like the Paris or WaveLab), and works with primarily realtime applications, although it might work with some non-realtime as well. Bound supports mono or stereo sound streams, as well as 16bit and 32bit data types, although it really is geared for 32bit audio.

Security features such as the following can be implemented:
- Data integrity: An application can detect if data has been modified during transmission.
- Authenticity: An application can verify the identity of the sender using certificates.
- Privacy: An application can ensure that no intermediary between the sender and the recipient can understand the data.
Transport Layer Security is an extension of SSL. It is now overseen by an international standards organization. It provides the same capabilities as SSL (data integrity, authenticity, and privacy between client and server), but takes advantage of newer, more advanced cryptographic technology. It is backwards compatible with SSL.
The cryptographic library includes a multitude of encryption algorithms. The symmetric, or private key, encryption algorithms offered include Rijndael (now officially the Advanced Encryption Standard, or AES, algorithm of the U.S. government), IDEA, DES, 3DES, RC2, RC4, and Blowfish. The asymmetric, or private/public key, encryption algorithms include RSA, DSA, and Diffie-Hellman.
Also included are message digest algorithms such as MD2, MD5, MDC2, and SHA, whose resulting hashes can be used by digital signature schemes to digitally sign documents. The Open SSL library uses some but not all of these algorithms.
To compile for the Win32 platform, Perl or compiling under Cygwin is required. Some of the encryption routines/algorithms are covered by patents.
Enhancements:
- Stop out of bounds reads in the ASN1 code when presented with invalid tags (CAN-2003-0543 and CAN-2003-0544).
- Free up ASN1_TYPE correctly if ANY type is invalid (CAN-2003-0545).
- If verify callback ignores invalid public key errors dont try to check certificate signature with the NULL public key.

Powerful but simple user interface
The user inteface minimises the effort required to work on puzzles and
lets you concentrate on finding the solution. For example, at any time
a single mouse click will pop-up the possible combinations for any row
or column. And they are always up to date, so you dont have to remember
them or use tables.
You can colour cells and candidates to help identify
patterns. Inconsistent or incorrect answers can be shown as you set
them and all moves can be undone. The solution for a single cell or
the whole puzzle can be shown at any stage. You can select the hint
which is easiest to understand or the one which removes the most
candidates.

SourGumdropK can solve all puzzles. Entered puzzles are checked for
internal consistency and for having a single solution.
The appearance of the program can be set using a configuration
option. The Python source code is included.
