Browse Assist (BA) can make your life easier by allowing you to manage E-Mail, Web site addresses (Book mark web site URLs), FTP (File Transfer Protocol) , and desktop applications. BA can also store general information such as phone numbers and mailing addresses if desired.

How it works
BA allows you to maintain up to 26 lists of 200 entries each. Each entry can be a Email address, Web address, FTP address, PC application, or data. Each of the six data groups can be labeled, and the data can be mixed by type or separated by type into individual groups. You could have a data group named Family Email addresses and just add email addresses for your family.

Each URL can be given a label to identify it, in addition to just the URL itself. A example would be a URL to a frequently visited web page for a web site that has some complicated URL address like: (http://www.xenosoftinc.com/index.htm). Who knows what that is pointing to in a browser history list! As you know they are usually more complicated and and much longer!

With BA you can add a label to the URL: (http://www.xenosoftinc.com/index.htm), and label it: Browse Assist Software. Whew! thats much better. Now I can keep BA on my desktop and just click Browse Assist software and BA will not only display the web page, but it will invoke your web browser if it is not already active. Your browser history list does not give you this level of control and ease of use.

BA allows for the addition of 200 labeled URLs to each data group. Thats 5200 URLs stored inside a single application. Normally you would store your web addresses in your browser(s) (We use multiple browsers), Your email addresses in your mail tool, your FTP addresses somewhere else, and your phone numbers in some database application.

BA allows you to store all of this important data under a single application, label each data item for easy access, and invoke the related application as required. Plus you can search all 1200 entries if necessary.

Launch Items is an easy-to-use contextual menu plug-in which allows to launch customized applications or open documents with customized applications. It has a graphic user interface called Launch Items Editor where users can add any applications to the menu of Launch Items. The editor supports drag & drop, drag to change position of menu items, and more.

The concept of contextual menu is to show a set of commands on a floating menu.
