CDR Info is a small tool developed by Plextor for the Plextor drives only.

CDR Info will tell you information about the manufacturer of your CDR media.

Have you ever burned a CD and wonder whether the data was copied correctly? CDR Checker performs a byte wise comparison between the contents of two directories. This utility is useful for verifying whether files were copiedcorrectly to a CD, a hard drive, a Zip or Jaz disk, or to a tape drive. CDR Checker can be even be used to compare data files across Microsoft Network Neighborhood.

Backup-Burner CDR SDK lets you add Backup-to-DVD and CD capability to your software with one dll function call! Increase the value of your program by assuring your users that they can archive (burn) important data to CD with a single menu choice or button. Easy for you, simple for them.

Customizable colors, background (Skin) and title. Just select a folder to backup, pass some values to our dll, and wait for the function to return with a result code after burning is complete.

All files and subfolders in the selected folder are burned to CD. SDK comes with a Demo exe, example source for Delphi and C++, and our dlls.. Can use with any Windows language that can use dlls.

Writes at high speeds on almost every burner. Supremely simple user interface requires no user input like recording speeds or other complex issues, it is all automated for them.

It writes to blank CD-Rs and CD-RWs. It will even ask to erase a full CD-RW first, which is economical for a user that backs up his files frequently. Remember that your code selects all the files and-or folders you wish to have burned, up to 650MBs.

Includes the freeware AutoMenu. Use AutoMenu in conjunction with the SDK to create automatically launching menus upon CD insertion using the autorun.inf file. Simplifies your coding tasks while offering the potential to ask the user if he wants to execute operations such as a full restore, jump to on-line help files, or read me files. Definitely worth a look.

CDR Media Code Identifier tells you which company actually produced a certain CD-R or CD-RW disk not just the brand name it is being sold under. This program might come in handy when buying and avoiding being ripped off with expensive brand burner media when you could be buying a cheaper brand which is in fact the exact same media just with a different label.

This small tool was developed to read the ATIP from a CDR media using a CD recorder - right now there ́s no CDROM reader that can do this (At least I don ́t know of!). The ATIP tells who has manufactured the disc and what dye type they used. (The ATIP doesn ́t tell the exact dye type - it just tells if the recording strategy to be used for this media is a "long strategy type" (e.g. Cyanine) or "short strategy type" (e.g. Phthalocyanine).
