Free cleartype software for windows

Enables ClearType function when you run it. ClearType Setter is a tiny, invisible Windows tool that was designed to enable ClearType function when you run it.

This PowerToy lets you use ClearType technology to make it easier to read text on your screen, and installs in the Control Panel.

ClearTweak allows you to change the contrast setting of the ClearType setting for Windows XP.
The program is designed to enhance LCD displays. It may appear slightly blurry on standard desktop monitors.
To use ClearType, you must have a video adapter and monitor that support a color setting of at least 256 colors. Best results are achieved with High color (24-bit) or Highest color (32-bit) support.
If you have a Notebook computer, give this a try, it will significantly improve readability on your screen.

This release is based on the all-new AutoPatcher 5.1. Although made with Windows XP SP2 (English) in mind, AutoPatcher XP will load on any Windows version or language, showing only the items which match the running environment.
