Talking Desktop clock adds new features to your Windows XP system tray clock.
It shows the time in the system tray and/or on the desktop, with a choice of many attractive clock styles, analog or digital.
It uses Microsoft Speech or Microsoft. Agent to announce the time on the hour.
It can also play a chime on the hour You can choose from a number of different chimes, from classic to silly. You can also make custom chimes that play .WAV files.
The current version, Talking Desktop clock 1.0 Preview, is not quite complete. It does not yet include any Help, and its customization features are incomplete.

You are sometimes working with the PC and you want to know the date and time at that moment. Skinny clock 1.0 RC 2 is a time and clock tool which can help you to show date and time in the way you want.

Major features

1. This is a freeware utility helping you to show date and time in the way you like.
2. One way to watch the time is a clock window, whose look can be adjusted via a skin.
3. There are several pre-made skins available within installation, or you can even design your own skins. Each skin can contain info about its author and it is recognized by all Skinny clock versions, so that you can become a famous clock skin designer;o).
4. The clock window supports alpha transparency at the window and skin levels, as well as input transparency. The second way to watch the time is to override the taskbar clock to show the time using format and font of your choice.
5. Clock skins can be created using captions with formatting strings to display current time, polyline vector primitives, and bitmaps with alpha channels
6. Every element of the skin is drawn anti-aliased, and with designer-defined alpha. Number of elements composing the skin is not limited, and the structure of easy-to-understand skin-definition file allows you to specify the order how to overlay the elements.
7. Skinny clock is available in English and Japanese. It is possible create and use your own translation.
