clone

Clone is a Perl module that can recursively copy Perl datatypes.

This module provides a clone() method which makes recursive copies of nested hash, array, scalar and reference types, including tied variables and objects.

clone() takes a scalar argument and an optional parameter that can be used to limit the depth of the copy. To duplicate lists, arrays or hashes, pass them in by reference. e.g.

my $copy = clone (@array);

# or

my %copy = %{ clone (%hash) };

Clone description
A backup utility that also runs as a screen saver Clone allows you to backup your files. Clone can be run as either a standard windows utility or as a screen saver . Run as a screensaver, clone backups up the data that is important to you while you take a break from your computer.

This ensures you have a copy of your most important files backed up.
Clone copies files from one location to another. This can be another directory on your hard disk, another hard disk altogether, your CR-RW drive, your floppy disk / zip disk or a network file server.

Clone will copy files to any media that can be mapped as a windows directory. As well as making a backup copy you can specify clone keeps old versions of your files, allowing you to go back to a previous version of a file if required. Clone is incredible easy to run and configure.

Clone keeps a track of how many files it has checked and copied so you always know what the program is doing.

SpeedClone does a true sector by sector, bit by bit clone of a hard drive. It is not a file transfer or upgrade utility.

Unlike other drive cloning software SpeedClone 2003 will not stop and give an error when cloning a drive with bad sectors. When SpeedClone encounters a drive with bad sectors it will simply move on to the next sector and continue with the clone.
