Close Outlook is a small tool that you can use to close down Outlook before your run a backup If you have ever tried to backup your Outlook PST file, you know that you have to close down Outlook before you can do this. Since I back up my network automatically at night, I got tired of trying to remember to shut Outlook down every night and wrote this little utility.
Just use the built-in Windows Task Scheduler utility (in XP: Start > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks) to run closeoutlook.exe just before your backup runs.

Close Button is a useful Firefox extension that adds a Close Tab button to the toolbar. This is especially handy if you put your tab bar at the bottom, but want a Close Tab button in the top right, where youd find it in most well behaved Windows programs with child windows. Close Button is a concession to the muscle memory instilled by years as an Opera user.
The buttons appearance is determined by the installed theme. Once installed, just right click on the toolbar, select "Customize...", and drag the button wherever you like.

Maxthon add-on that will close all the tabs that contain a user specified string in their URL Close URLs Containing is a plugin that will close all your opened tabs whose URLs contain a user specified string.
When you click the plugins toolbar button, it pops up a prompt for you to enter text in. Any window (tab) with that text contained in the URL will be closed.
For instance, if you have 7 Google Windows and 12 Yahoo! Windows and you want to close all the Yahoo! Windows but leave the Google Windows, enter "yahoo" into the prompt.
Allows multiple strings separated by spaces.

Close All Windows does exactly what its name suggests: closes all windows available on the desktop.
It does not use system resources because it only flashes a close signal to all open windows on the desktop and then ceases. Just place a shortcut to the tool in the Start Menu, Quick Launch or elsewhere.
You can always add a hotkey to this shortcut. It is really very handy if you are running ~20 applications and want them all to quit instantly. It works just as if you were pressing the close button for each application.
