Einsteins General Theory of Relativity demonstrates that a large mass can deform spacetime and bend the path of light. So, a very massive object, such as a cluster of galaxies can act as a gravitational lens.
When light passes through the cluster from an object lying behind it, the light is bent and focused to produce an image or images of the source. The image may be magnified, distorted, or multiplied by the lens, depending upon the position of the source with respect to the lensing mass.
The characteristics of the gravitationally ensed image depend upon the alignment of the observer, the lens and the background object. If the alignment is perfect, the resulting image is an Einstein Ring.
Using PlutoPlot you can draw images to see the gravitational lensing effect. You can easily test the effects of several parameters by changing them and redrawing the image.

Xteq ClusterScripting is a small script file that allows you to perform several commands on your Microsoft Cluster Server.
Basically, its an command-line interface that allows you to easily administrate your cluster server, check it or generate reports.
Xteq ClusterScripting can dump different information about your cluster (Resources, Owners, Networks...), perform several checks (Resource state, Preferred Owner okay etc.) and also take resources offline, online or fail them.
It also returns an error code for each action you can easily check by using a batch file command like [IF NOT "%ERRORLEVEL%"=="0" goto somewhere]. For example, if you use the command CHECK_RESOURCES and one of the resources in your cluster is currently offline, Xteq ClusterScripting will return 5. If this happens, you can easily take any action (write email, inform administrator etc.) from within the batch file.
Plus, Xteq ClusterScripting can output the result as XML (parameter /XMLOUTPUT+) so you can directly use this XML output as input for other programs. Or, you may use an XSLT to transform this XML to HTML and display the result in the browser of your choice. An example for this is included inside the file "View XML Output in Browser.bat".
To get you started quickly examples for all command Xteq ClusterScripting supports are included.

Restore the contents of a cluster quorum disk from a recent ntbackup restore process This tool is used in a Microsoft Windows 2000 cluster after a node has been restored using NtBackup, a component of the Windows 2000 operating system. NtBackup leaves the quorum data in a directory on the nodes disk, but does not restore it to the quorum disk at that time.
Cluster Quorum Restore Utility was designed to restore the contents of a cluster quorum disk from a recent ntbackup restore process.
Restoring the quorum disk requires that the cluster be stopped and restarted, which may not be necessary or desirable. If a quorum disk requires a restore, the cluster is most likely down and the operation will not negatively impact operation.
The process of restoring a single node of a cluster is straightforward. You must first restore the system state and cluster state to the node; then you must restart. This causes the node to rejoin the cluster and restores it to operation.
To restore the quorum disk, following the node restore, run Clusrest.exe. This moves the quorum data from the node to the quorum. The node can then be restarted and the cluster should be established. Other nodes may then join the cluster as they are brought up.
Note:
Restoring a quorum rolls the cluster back in time to the backup date. There are impacts to performing this operation that include loss of data. This operation should only be undertaken when it becomes absolutely necessary.
