Compass is an engineering tool for hardware, software, and services design. From concept exploration to implementation, Compass will enable you to do what you do best, design your product.

Compass integrates design information into modules. These modules follow industry accepted practices with an easy to use interface that are logically integrated together.

Compass::Bearing is a Perl module to convert angle to text bearing (aka heading).

The Geo Radar released by .CK reminded me of an idea I had had a while ago and provided me with the tools to implement it quickly.

This greasemonkey is a simpler version of the radar that displays the 8 closest photos to the actual one in the directions: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW.

Flickr Photo Compass is a simple tool to browse photos of some place. By clicking on the direction icons, you can move around and find other photos.

Sun Compass is a program to show the north direction from the sun or moon position. It also give you the direction to Makkah. You may see the sun or the north direction on top.

There are two ways of use:

1. the north is at the top of your phone: hold it with direction of the arrow to the sun.
2. the sun is on top of the phone: the arrow gives you the north direction.
The shown time is UTC (Universal Time Coordinated, only correct if the phone knows the time zone)
Use only for orientation not for navigation.

Sun/Moon Compass is a complete scientific tool that allows you to easily find the North direction based on the current position of the Sun or the Moon: 1. Instantly set your location by picking a city from 3000+ cities available. 2. Orient your device (holding it horizontally) towards the sun or the moon. 3. You are ready to go! Sun Compass is a compass for Palm handhelds. All you have to do, is to setup your homecity by selecting it from the list. If your hometown is not available just select one nearby.

After knowing the geographic position (longitude and latitude) and the timezone (difference tothe GMT Standard Time) the program calculates the direction of the sun anddisplays a yellow circle (sun symbol) on the display.Installation:
