Free component software for windows

TSMRuler is a component for Delphi. This ruler has the capability to be displayed in a horizontal or vertical direction.
It has properties which allow automatic displaying of current position indicator and measurement markers (centimeters/inches/pixels). Also TSMRuler has a margins (start/end) and offsets (start/end).

SMDBGrid component is the successor TDBGrid with extended features. Is able to display multiline wordwrap column titles, checkboxs for boolean fields, a convenient select of records from the keyboard and mouse via checkboxs, extanded Indicator column, fixing of columns, an opportunity to exclude insert and delete of records in the DBGrid, own standard PopupMenu, save/restore of a column states, processing of additional events etc. Multilanguage resources.
PS: in archive there are English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Japan, Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish Mexican, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech and Slovak resources (file SMCnst.PAS).
Main features:
- movement from column to column by ENTER key (like TAB)

- record selection using the standard checkbox
- editing of boolean fields like checkbox
- glyphs in Indicator column and user Indicator width
- own PopUp menu with standard items (Add/Edit/Delete record, Print/Export data, Save/Cancel changes, Refresh data, Select/UnSelect records, Save/Restore layout, Setup). Using like window system menu!
- fixing of the few columns in horizontal scrolling. Also you can fix it but draw as normal columns
- drawing a pictures in cells for graphic fields

- a convenient select of records from keyboard (is transfered from TRXDBGrid)
- an opportunity to exclude insert and delete of records in the SMDBGrid

- Refresh of the data in SMDBGrid (useful for TQuery because Refresh correctly works only for TTable)
- processing of events by pressing on column title (is transfered from TRXDBGrid)

- lowered draw of the current selected column (like grid in 1C-accounting)
- to easily display bitmaps in cells based upon any data

This is standard TStatusbar with predefined panels where could be displayed some system information. You can show/hide any panel.
Any system information will be refreshed automatically.

You can use SystemBar component like a system status bar with display of some system parameters :

SMMoneyStr component offers an opportunity of reception from numeric value to its verbal string.
The opportunity of the task of currency (US dollars, DM, euros, british pounds, UAH, ukrainian karbovanets and Russian roubles, South Africa Rands, Dominican Republic peso, Rupiah), language of translation (English, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Indonesian) and types of number translation in a string is realized.
You can define:
- property Currency - currency for translation (tcUAH, tcKarbovanec, tcUSD, tcRUR, tcDM, tcPound, tcEuro)
- property Language - language for translation (tlUkrainian, tlRussian, tlEnglish, tlGerman, tlSpain)
- property Expand - types for translation
exWholeSum: expand of the whole part of the number value (fourty five or 45)
exWholeCurrency: expand of the currency for whole part (rubles or rub)
exFractionSum: expand of the fractional part of the number value (ten or 10)
- exFractionCurrency: expand of the currency for fractional part (centes or cnt)
- property CharCase:
ccLower: all characters in a target string is a small
ccProper: first character is a capital, all rest is a small
ccUpper: all characters in a target string is a capital

The TSMLanguage component will allow you to develop multilanguage applications without being forced to recompile.
You can define the external files with translated strings and custom messages and in run-time to load it for modification of component properties.
In design-time you can automatically generate the resource file and properties for the next translation.

TSMMAPIMail component will allow you to create e-mail messages and send them using MAPI. Unlimited recipient and attachment lists are supported.

Using CC: and BCC: prefixes you can specify carbon recipients.
Note that if you have problems with name resolving, try to add smtp: prefix before email address:

Must work with any default mailer which support MAPI. For example, MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, Opera, TheBat etc
