Concatenates midi files to a medley Midicat is a simple command line tool designed to concatenate midi files to a medley.
Main features:
- reads binary midi files (format 0 or 1)
- writes a binary midi file (format 0)
- converts midi time unit resolution to a common multiplier resolution
- initializes tempo, tact, programs, volumes, chorus, reverb effects, balance, use of the initializing is optimized to reduce time necessary for initialization
- adds a text marker in front beginning of a song
- optionally insert pauses between the songs (in quarternotes or rational e.g. 3/8)
- generates format 0 midi file to reduce number of tracks (in format 1 the number of tracks would grow quickly and many players have a track imitation (e.g. 16 tracks)
- combine 2 up to 50 songs
I am using a Korg i3 music workstation and sometimes I sequence midi songs.
Once I sequenced a series of short xmas melodies and had the trouble to put the songs together to one xmas medley. This time I did it manually and it took much time to concatenate the songs. This brought me to the thought to write a simple midi utility that does this job without much effort.Originally only format 0 files were accepted, now it also can read format 1 file.

After the application is installed a "Decode" item is added to the Explorer right click context menu when a file is highlighted Decode Shell Extension supports multiple attachments, multi-part files (already concatenated), Base64(MIME), yEnc, BinHex (Mac format), quoted-printable, plain text, XXENCODED, and User (table) encoded files. Support for yEnc is new to version 4.6.
Usage is via Windows Explorer. After the application is installed a "Decode" item is added to the Explorer right click context menu when a file is highlighted. If that file is the raw text (including the attachment data) of an internet email message, Decode Shell Extension will decode the attachment(s). If the attachment consists of only one file, Decode Shell Extension will pass the decode file to Windows for opening with either the program associated with that file type or Notepad.
For virus safety reasons, Decode Shell Extension will initiate opening/launching of .exe, .com, .bat, & .cmd files. We suggest that you scan all message text files and decoded attachments in advance with your anti-virus checker before loading them.

Repagination is a Firefox add-on that allows you to see more results on one page or to see more pages in a slideshow Repagination allows you to see more search results etc. on one page, concatenating several pages together.
To use, right-click on a Next link (it works with other languages, too) or a 2 link, select Re-Pagination, All. Or select Re-pagination, Limited and the number of pages to append. For an example, see the previews of this extension.
For photos, right-click on the Next link, select Re-pagination, Slideshow and the duration in seconds of each page display. The pages will replace each other instead of appending.
