Connect/21 was developed for use with COM21 ISPs where you sign on and off through a TELNET session. Some ISPs offers a Windows based user interface for this process, but the program is really not satisfying for many. You may want to monitor the total online time, the forthcoming bill, etc. Furthermore, the interface offered by some ISPs does not handle the automatic timeout feature of the COM21 system.
Connect/21 solves these problems and give you much easier access to the Internet. For example, you can launch Connect/21 and have it sign you on to the network automatically, then minimize to the taskbar - Just click and go!
The program should be very easy to configure and should hopefully be compatible with other COM21 ISPs. You can - of course - specify the address and port of the logon server, as well as challenge and response values in the process of signing on and off, etc.
