If you disagree with that statement, then theres a good chance, if youre honest with yourself, that the reason is because you have never been good enough at Morse to make using it an enjoyable experience.
Say what you like about Morse, theres no denying that code can make it when phone would be lost in the noise. And CW opens up the exciting possibility of going on the air using simple transmitters and receivers you can easily build. But if you struggle to copy CW, its no fun at all.
Many proficient CW operators recommend operating during a major contest as a way to improve your speed. But there arent contests every day.
