CopyLock is a small program that allows the replacement of one or many files that are currently in use (e.g the system files like comctl32.dll.) Add the files to update, click Copy, restart and thats it! Disclaimer: you can crash your system or make it unbootable if you are not careful, use at your own risk.

Add the files to update, click Apply, restart and thats it!

You can also list and edit the pending operations from the system after you ran an installer or view the processes which use the locked files.

Notes:

- the operation may not work if the file to replace is protected by the system. Since CopyLock is based on documented APIs it will only allow what the underlying system allows.

- Use the included PSAPI.DLL library only if you get a message stating that this file is missing (Windows NT4 only).

The Locked Files Wizard formerly CopyLock is a simple assistant that allows you to replace, to move, to delete and to rename The Locked Files Wizard, formerly known as CopyLock, is a simple assistant that will allow you to move, to replace, to delete and to rename one or more files or folders which are used by the system or any other process.

A command-line version is also available in the package so that you can use it from a Command Prompt or a script.

Locked Files Wizard now helps to quickly identify and remove worms and trojans from a system just by selecting them from a list of Registry keys. The associated "Run" key may be deleted as well.

Limitations:

· the unregistered version of Locked Files Wizard has no limitations, but the producer would apreciate if you register it.
