CR-ISP is specifically designed for those people who used to have a time limitation on their Internet connection.
Such ISPs are normally Free or cheaper than most, but to stop us abusing the system they restrict how long you can stay online before you have to reconnect.
This is a minor irritation but it can cause serious aggravation if you are in the middle of a download or similar. I could not recommend highly enough such programs like Gozilla or Get Right that will help you resume broken downloads.

CR-Zap2K is a file shredder. It is a little known fact that when you delete a file, the data on the disk remains there, CR-Zap2K makes sure it doesnt. CR-Zap2K should be fully compatable with Win9X and Windows NT4/5. Encrypted, sparse and compressed files are also supported.

PortComm software represents a communication application that can be used to send and receive data asynchronously through the serial port (in the future through the USB port as well).
Its also possible to manually change the state of the RTS and DTR signals and to monitor the CTS and DSR signals.

If the Auto mode is used:
The text must be enclosed within quotes. The character set of the current language is used.
You can use some escape codes in text: \r - CR (0xD); \n - LF (0xA); \t - Tab (0x9).
The S and L modifiers behind decimal or hex values force the Short/Long values.
The data types may be mixed (e.g. "Line 1" 13 10 "Line\t2" 0xD 0xA 1000L).

A few command line utilities to simplify the batch script editors life a bit. all tools are released under the terms of the gnu gpl (except for 3rd party units), delphi 7 sources are included.
Some of the utilities (crc1632, direxist, macid and nocrlf) can also be compiled with turbo pascal 5.5 to create a dos version of them.
The package contains these tools:
Crc1632 calculate the crc16 or crc32 for files or text from stdin
Direxist test for directory existence. sets errorlevel to 0 if the given path exists, and to 1 otherwise (similar to "if exist xyz\nul", but also works on remote and ntfs drives)
Display view and modify display settings from the command line (resolution, frequency, bit depth)

The CR Internet Timer can automatically start at startup and it will sit in the system tray, monitoring your intenet connection time.
