BirthdayCal is a simple application that creates iCal entries for the birthdays of your Address Book contacts.

BirthdayCal supports iCal alarms, recurrences, and all-day events.

Whats New in This Release:

gLabels is a lightweight program for creating labels and business cards for the GNOME desktop environment.

gLabels project is designed to work with various laser/ink-jet peel-off label and business card sheets that youll find at most office supply stores.

· This release primarily fixes a couple of crashes when built on GNOME 2.12.

Whats New in 2.1.4 Development Release:

· This development release features a large overhaul of some of the underlying technologies.
· This includes migrating to GtkPrintOperation, Cairo, and Pango.

Merlin is a project management solution. Apart from the necessary and contained functions for project management, Merlin offers important features which are needed during projects.

Thus Merlin contains a complete risk management, a file management with version control and also an issue tracking. Even a specialized CRM is firmly integrated in Merlin. Each activity and event can be send to iCal. A specialized website created by Merlin offers an easy base for communication to project members working with other operating systems.

Since Mac OS X is increasingly utilizable for use in daily business life, the lack of a modern and professional solution for the project management is more and more obvious. For this reason we started with the concept of a new project management software in the summer of 2003. At the beginning of 2004 we decided to develop the software.

The Search

Every view has its own search field. Enter a key word and instantly the views are reduced to the essentials. Recurring searches are also no problem with Merlin 2. Define a complex search with a few mouse clicks and use this search for all your projects. Furthermore, Merlin Projects can be found in the Finder with the help of Spotlight.

Printing and Reporting

· Impress everyone, not just the boss
The graphic project plan is an important result - whether printed on paper or in a PDF. With Merlins interactive print preview you can easily design the output. Convince and satisfy your project team using meaningful reports, developed and adjusted with only a few mouse clicks using the Merlin 2 Reports function.

Documents

· Every document tells a story
Besides project planning no other topic is as all-encompassing as project documentation. For this task Merlin 2 ensures that you are perfectly equipped. Merlin knows when you edit a document in another application and gives you the option to create a new version. Thus you always retain an overview of all changes.


Limitations:

· It is no possible to edit more than 20 activities in demo version.
· All changes are lost after quiting the program.



Whats New in This Release:

An outstanding integration with Billings and a few other interesting features have been implemented to our latest version, Merlin 2.0.4.

New Functions
· The control panels in the inspector can now be displayed in different sizes. The size can be defined either in the Preferences (Tab "General") or by right clicking an empty space in the inspector.
· With the help of the "Publish" dialogue box, accessed via the "File" menu, it is possible to transfer specific data from Merlin 2 to Billings 2.5. Different options can be selected for the further use of data in this dialogue box.
· A new report is available with this version. The "Information Report" has been primarily created for the output of additional information (text). To test this report, it should be used in combination with the project template "Client Website," which is also new in this version.
· Using the context menu in the Element list, it is now possible to select the associated object.
· Links between activities can now be easily edited using the symbol, located in the feature bar. A mouse click creates a Finish to Start link, holding the mouse down displays a context menu.

Changes
· The settings for the iCal synchronization has been removed from the Project Settings window. It is now located in the menu "File - Publish."
· The export of MS Project via XML and MPX files has been optimized. Generally, using the XML format for data exchange is recommended.
· The import of Merlin 1 files has been optimized.
· The Apple Help for the Merlin manual, located in menu "Help," has been updated.
· For a better usability the layout of certain pages in the inspector have been optimized.
· By demand, tooltips in the inspector have been deactivated.
· Risks with a probability of 0%, are now listed in the "Classic Report."

Resolved Issues
· When printing, under certain circumstances, the Gantt chart was truncated on the right.
· The command "Remove All Assignments" did not work with combined projects.
· The resource initials were not displayed in the Gantt chart of combined projects.
· After activities were separated, the resulting project always showed a conflict.
· Under certain circumstances it was not possible to delete partial or complete entries in the Library.
· User defined columns in the outline were not printed.
· A search inquiry could be saved without a name.
· A few non-working links were found in the Apple Help for the Merlin manual.
· Under certain circumstances it was not possible to save a project after a resource calendar was modified.
· In individual cases a project could not be opened after an error in Spotlight.
· The assigned resources column was not immediately updated after editing.
· Texts with multiple rows were not displayed correctly in the print preview.
· When validating the margins in the print preview, the extra margins of certain printers were not considered.
· When new risk groups were created in the project settings lists, they were not immediately displayed.
· In certain positions the MS XML export contained planned values instead of expected values.
· The Lead/Lag was missing in MS XML exports.
· In individual cases the workspaces could not be accessed.
· Certain translation errors were corrected.
