MetaBeans is a tool that will help you with the visualization of database metadata in your applications is now easier than ever before: simply connect a dbSwing GUI control to a TableMetaData dataset to see table metadata information.

Dynamic DBTreeView contains some controls which are based on the Virtual TreeView control. They are using for internal data manipulation when dynamically building tree nodes and a binary search list for detecting existing nodes.

They reflect all changes of underlining dataset (record insertion, deletion, field value change) and support drag and drop operation. There are three controls: TDTADOTree, TDTClientTree, TDTTableTree for TCustomADODataSet, TCustomClientDataSet and TTable accordingly.

If your dataset supports filtering and you can create its clone dataset, you can derive your own treeview by overriding CreateCloneDataSet method of the TDTCustomDBTreeView control.

SMDBAccessNavigator component will allow you to have the dbnavigator a-la MS Access.

This component is extension of the TDBNavigator component.

PS: for correct work your dataset must supports the RecNo property. The Client-Server databases is not support it but for Paradox/DBase and memory datasets this component can be very useful.

Dicm Writer is a useful tool that creates single and multiframe DICOM datasets. Dicm Writer imports various image formats and encodes several syntaxes(explicit big endian, implicit little endian, explicit little endian, rle lossess and jpeg lossy.) and photometrics(monochrome1,monochrome2, pallete color and RGB.)

Additional attributes can be encoded into the dataset with Attribute Script Language(ASL). Just edit the asl.txt file with the additional data and Dicm Writer will encode your customization into the dataset. Dicm Writer can also generate and encode study, series and instance UIDs.

List of available sorting criteria may be taken from Items property, when property SelfList=true; Index list - for the TTable and similar datasets with the IndexFields property; SortingList property of datasets.TEtvFindDlg component can search for records by using sorting fields, including SQL datasets (such as TQuery). It shows a dialog with controls for input of search values. Parameters Case sensitive and Full coincidence are used. It can look for nearest records.
