The DataOne Software XML VIN Decoder service is a platform independent XML web service (REST). A VIN is simply passed to the service in real time, and a response is provided in XML format. VIN data including specification data is available through the XML VIN service. Certain data such as vehicle depreciated values, dimensions, NHTSA are optionally available as well. Single stock photos as well as items from the premium media collection are optionally available from the VIN service as well.
