Decoder will decode and detach and attachments it finds, with the exception of multi-part attachments.

This utility was designed SOLELY for use with the NWS files created by Microsoft Outlook Express newsreader when you drag a news article (with an attachment) to your system.

Decoder is meant to work on the files that you can Drag and Drop onto your desktop or into another folder. It is not meant to work directly on the Database files.

Convert::yEnc::Decoder is a Perl module that decodes yEncoded files.

WinMail Decoder is a utility you can use in conjunction with your e-mail program. When you receive a message from a user who has mistakenly sent you a message in Microsoft Outlook RTF format, you will receive the normal message text along with an attached file named winmail.dat, The winmail.dat file contains a rtf file formatted version of the email message and attached files. WinMail Decoder will scan the selected winmail.dat file for attachments and save them as files to your hard disk. WinMail Decoder is easy to use. To install, unzip, copy the file WinMailDecoder.exe to your desktop. To use, just drag & drop a WINMAIL.DAT file onto it to extract the attached files.

MP3 Decoder is an excellent utility for converting MP3 files into WAV files for writing to Audio CD or editing. MP3 Decoder also supports batch processes and file management. It will convert MPEG3 Layer 1, 2 and 3 files into WAV format.

The main reason for decoding MP3 files to WAV is to write the tracks to CD-R Audio for playback in stereo cd players and editing. Editing a MP3 directly is not possible, it must be decoded to WAV and then reencoded to MP3.

MP3 Decoder supports winamp playlists, batch conversions, file management for ID3v1 TAG management and easy filename normalization based on the ID3 tag.

This program comes with a seperate uninstaller to save download time. The help file is only available for registered users which offers in program help by clicking on the help button then the control you need help with. In the help file there are tutorials and how to get started with common tasks.

X Lossless Decoder(XLD) is a tool for Mac OS X that is able to decode/convert/play various lossless audio files. The supported audio files can be split into some tracks with cue sheet when decoding. It works on Mac OS X 10.3 and later.

XLD is Universal Binary, so it runs natively on both Intel Macs and PPC Macs.

XLD supports the following formats:
(Ogg) FLAC (.flac/.ogg)
Monkeys Audio (.ape)
Wavpack (.wv)
TTA (.tta)
Apple Lossless (.m4a) [10.4 only]
AIFF, WAV, etc

Other formats supported by Libsndfile are also decodable. XLD uses not decoder frontend but library to decode, so no intermediate files are generated. All of the supported formats can be directly split with the cue sheet. XLD also supports so-called embedded or internal cue sheet.

Currently you can choose output format from WAVE,AIFF and Raw PCM. In addition, you can choose Ogg Vorbis (aoTuV), MPEG-4 AAC (QuickTime/CoreAudio), MP3 (LAME), Apple Lossless and FLAC in the GUI version.

Frontend and backend of XLD are prefectry separated, so the frontend is able to access the various decoder with the same interface. If we provide plug-in interface in the future, you can easily develop the plug-in of the new format.

Whats New in This Release:

· Updated FLAC to version 1.2.0
· It will be slightly faster on Intel Macs due to enabling MMX/SSE codes.
· Partially rewritten Monkeys Audio/TTA decoder with SSE optimization
· Notes: TTA version 3.4.1 has been released, but it has no improvement on decoder and lost 32bit float decoding capability. So XLD still uses version 3.3.
· Fixed overwriting problem when both input and output file have the same name (GUI)

You can find VVS files at some Digital CD such as All Led Zeppelin or All Queen, etc.. These CDs contain its own multimedia shell to play it. With VVS Decoder you can convert these files into WAVE, WMA or MP3 format easily. This version includes ID Tag Info editor (for WMA and MP3). MMS Decoder provides a script for sending MMS messages to a Web page.

MMS Decoder can receive MMS messages, decode them, and display them on a Web page. This is done by acting as an MMSC, which is a server to which MMS messages are sent.

The only requirement to get this to work is an internet connected webserver, with PHP support and a phone which can send MMS (some operators may have blocked all MMS servers except their own, and the application will not work with these).

When an MMS is sent, its usually sent to the operators MMSC, which notifies the reciever (by a binary encoded SMS) that she or he has an MMS to retrieve, then his or her phone connects to the MMSC server and fetches the MMS which has been made available on the server via HTTP. What my web application actually do is to pretend to be an MMSC, recieves the MMS, decodes it (its encoded as specified in the WAP-209-MMSEncapsulation-20020105-a and wap-230-wsp-20010705-a specifications) and then stores it.

The only thing you need to do to make this work on your phone, is to set the phones MMSC (may also be labeled Service Center, MMS Center, or MMS Server) to http://domain.com/mms/get.php, or something like that, and then start sending MMS messages. And best of all, it will not cost you like 20 cents which the phone operators charge, the only cost is what your operator charge for WAP access (usually a lot less than the MMS cost), since the MMS is sent over WAP.

MMS Decoder was first written as a school project, and therefore Ive written a very detailed report of the decoding mechanism. This is, how ever, written in swedish so it would not be useful to anyone who doesnt know swedish. You can grab the report here.
