The comparison is not straightforward, however, if there is a transformer in the zone, because the magnitudes and often also the phases of the primary and secondary currents of a transformer are different. The measured value of either the primary or secondary current must be corrected, or compensated for the differences due to the transformer before the comparison.
This Differential Protection Calculator application is designed to calculate the necessary corrections. The phase difference is corrected by multiplying the measured or calculated three phase current vector by a matrix, and the magnitude is corrected by multiplying by a constant.
In addition, some other simple operations can be done with this program to the current vector, such as the change of the sign, the calculation of the complex conjugate, and the calculation of the sequence components from the phase components, and vice versa

It has numerous methods for selection (brushes, flood-fills, spray, shapes, spline curves, color proximity and other advanced methods).
DDS V2 offers over 50 blending modes and it allows the user to create more of his own.
Among the effects that can be applied: textures, blurs, convolution, gradients, text rendering. Also, DDS has a non-linear history (similar to undo feature, but more complex), which allows overlaying the new state of a layer onto its old state, using opacity and blending settings.

Program keeps on running until you stop it. The Total Energy (Kinetic + Potential) should remain unchanged throughout the motion, but as time progresses the error in the calculations very slowly accumulates.

ICE Mirror allows ultra fast mirroring because it performs incremental updates. In other words it only copies files that have changed. If only a few files have been updated, it performs very fast.
Also ICE Mirror allows making differential updates. The differential updates are very useful if you are use read-only media (CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, etc.). There are two steps in differential updates:
1. Comparison the master directory and the mirrored directory.
2. Copying all new files from the master directory to the secondary mirrored directory.

Differential equation and systems of differential equations are the natural language trough we can describe any real devices like electronic circuit, automatic controls, elettro-magnetic wave emission or any other engineering problems. The purpose of OpenDDPT project is to build a software that can aids people to build automatically these control devices. The strategy used by this software is based on the concept that differential equations generally are parameters dependent so we can found optimal control parameters using an optimization template. The optimization tool-box used by OpenDDPT is an innovative non-convex second-order method that replaces the hessian structure (the hessian matrix has heavy memory storage and an expensive computational-cost) with directional-derivatives , reducing the second order information computational cost of one order without approximation.Controls local informations (i.e. gradient and its directional derivate) are found trough an extended form of the back-propagation rule used for neural-network and that new extended form can perform not only weighted-sum and sigmoidal saturations but also multiplication ,addition, time-delay and any non-linearity and it can be used as a generic expression for realizing any non linear discrete time control device.<<less

The most direct application of image regularization is image denoising. By extension, it can also be used to inpaint or resize images.
GREYCstoration is based on state-of-the-art image processing methods using nonlinear multi-valued diffusion PDEs (Partial Differential Equations).
This kind of method generally outperforms basic image filtering techniques (such as convolution, median filtering, etc.), classically encountered in image painting programs.
Other comparable image denoising techniques are available (for instance, Noise Ninja, Neat Image ) but are not open-source, and the corresponding algorithms are kept secret.
On the contrary, the source code of GREYCstoration is freely available and distributed under the CeCILL License (compatible with the well-known GPL). It gives similar results (not to say better) to existing closed-source denoising filters, and is absolutely free to use.
Compared to other PDE-based regularization methods, our approach has several advantages : It performs very fast and is able to preserve thin image details since it works at a sub-pixel accuracy
