The Text Formatting Toolbar is a toolbar for Mozilla Firefox that will allow the easy formatting of posts on forums, blog comments and wikis.Text Formatting Toolbar supports three formats BBcode (bulletin board) like used on most forums, HTML and the format used by Wikipeida.

This freeware screen saver is a great way to play a joke on your friend (assuming your friend knows what disk formatting is all about :-) ). If you set up FunFormat as the screensaver on your friends computer, then whenever the idle time is up, FunFormat begins to imitate the formatting of the primary harddisk. It displays the regular disk formatting window, and advances its progress bar as if the formatting is actually taking place (This is imitation only! The hard disk is not disturbed during the imitation in any way!). If your friend closes FunFormat, an error message is shown about a missing operating system, but this is imitation, too: just let your friend close the message and the computer will continue to work as usual.

Unconditional format of floppy disk. Unconditionally formats a standard 1.44MB floppy disk in drive A:. Windows XP has a problem formatting demagnetized or corrupt diskettes: its format function only checks for diskette to be readable, and does not perform actual formatting if it is not.
Format144 is a simple command-line tool which is able to format disktettes to the most common standard. Source code is realeased under the GNU GPL for study and improvement.
