That is very annoying, because you need dozens of separate programs to keep your system clean. The idea of Hurby is to break this down to one program with several plugins.
In most cases, it is not very hard to remove unwanted data from your system, most programs store this information in the registry or in ini-files.

You can also rip subtitles as BMP in the goal of putting them on a SVCD (for viewing on a stand-alone DVD player) or on a homemade DVD.
SubRip use an OCR algorithm and I (Brain) spend a lot of time and nights (and Dubs a bit too) coding it for you :) but I learned a lot of things with this experience.

When it comes to customization, BitDrom allows much liberty - seeding rules, the ability to configure your disk cache, the ability to set upload and download speeds on individual files and for the entire player as well.
