Encrypt 1 offers you a great encryption program (symmetrical encryption) which is based on old but highly effective encryption technology. Processes text files only and there is no GUI interface encryption and de-encryption is done from the dos command line.

The actual code used to create this version of the program was destroyed. Keys are 2-40 in number. Program has been around since 2002 and has a relatively small number of users, all of whom are satisfied. This is not a plaything it is for grown-ups.

EFTP stands for Encrypted File Transfer Protocol. Basically, its the same as standard FTP (RFC 959), but with Encryption.

To achieve encryption, EFTP must be used at both client and server, however you can use both the Client and Server in non-encrypted mode with other popular Clients/Servers
